Modular Buildings have become the new standard for cost effective building solutions in remote location. There is a misconception that modular buildings are simply less expensive than traditional forms of construction, but this isn’t necessarily true. In locations where there is good free market competition for building contractors, the price of a new building is very competitive and in some instances may still be less expensive or comparable with modular construction.
However, in remote locations where competition is less or non-existent modular construction is highly cost effective because the pre-packaged or pre-fabricated components only require moderate to no assembly on site.
